It's been a long time coming, but Runescape has completed and is now live beta testing an enormous overhaul of it's graphics.

Having played, erm, I mean watching my brother play on the original graphics engine, the difference is incredible. The game looks absolutely fantastic, particularly for a browser-based game (Java powered).

Jagex has also completely revamped the website to go with the new "HD" (high detail) look of the game. Check it out!
